Varṇajñānam

Varṇa (वर्ण) is a phonetic unit of Sanskrit language.
There are 50 varṇa, broadly classified in three types,

• Svarāḥ (स्वराः): 13
• Vyañjanāni (व्यञ्जनानि): 33
• Ayogavāhāḥ (अयोगवाहाः): 4

The Varṇajñānam system consists of utility functions related to varṇa information and manipulation.

• Pratyāhāra: Form or resolve Pratyāhāra.
• Viccheda: Split a word into its component Varṇa.
• Uccāraṇa: Display uccāraṇa information of Varṇa.
• Frequency calculator.

The functionality offered by Varṇajñānam is also available as a Python library at PyPI.
