Jñānasaṅgrahaḥ

The word Jñānasaṅgraha (Devanagari: ज्ञानसङ्ग्रह) means 'collection of knowledge'.

The Jñānasaṅgrahaḥ system is a platform developed at IIT Kanpur that hosts numerous applications related to Sanskrit. It demonstrates various interesting methods from Indian scientific tradition.

It consists of the following components,

• Saṅkhyāpaddhatiḥ (सङ्ख्यापद्धतिः), a collection of ancient Indian alpha-syllabic numeral systems.
  1. Kaṭapayādi Saṅkhyā, a Kaṭapayādi encoding-decoding system.
  2. Āryabhaṭīya Saṅkhyā, an Āryabhaṭīya encoding-decoding system.
  3. Bhūtasaṅkhyā, a Bhūtasaṅkhyā encoding-decoding system.
• Chandojñānam (छन्दोज्ञानम्), a Sankrit prosodical meter identification system.
• Varṇajñānam (वर्णज्ञानम्), a collection of utility functions related to Sanskrit alphabet.
